Privacy policy

Volcanic Leads is a business operations agency based in Europe. We take your privacy seriously and follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by default. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how to exercise your rights.

Who we are

What data we collect

• Operations Analyzer submissions. Email, optional company URL, business attributes you provide (industry, country, team size, tools, time spent on manual work, bottlenecks, goals).
• Chat widget conversations. Messages you exchange with our chat widget, optional email if you request a human reply, page URL where the chat started.
• Site analytics. Aggregate, cookieless analytics via Plausible. No personal identifiers are stored.
• Server logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) retained for security and abuse prevention for up to 30 days.

Lawful basis

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). When you submit the Analyzer or chat handoff form, you tick a consent box.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For server logs and aggregate analytics needed to keep the site running and secure.

How we use your data

• To send you the operations analysis you requested.
• To reply to chat handoff requests.
• To improve our services based on aggregate trends.
• To follow up if you have asked us to contact you about working together.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties. We do not use your data to train any external model.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate the site:

• Supabase (database hosting, EU region).
• Resend (transactional email delivery).
• Cloudflare (edge hosting and DDoS protection).
• Plausible (cookieless analytics).

Retention

• Analyzer submissions: kept for 24 months from submission, then deleted.
• Chat conversations: kept for 12 months, then deleted.
• Server logs: 30 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@volcanicleads.com. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use no advertising cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is fully cookieless. The site uses functional browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) only to remember your chat session and whether you have already seen our exit-intent prompt.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are announced on the homepage.
